Summary
The Cattons come and go, but your life has never taken you away from this place. Before Saltburn, there was nothing, and there’ll be nothing after it, either. Not for you.
You've lived at Saltburn almost all of your life, growing up alongside Felix and Venetia as your uncle Duncan, the head of the household staff, raised you and taught you how to work for the Cattons. Venetia is practically your big sister, when she's not trying to make you squirm, and Felix is....your best friend. If best friends insist on sleeping in your bed every night and lose their shit if you so much as mention dating. Your life, for the most part, is simple and smooth.
Then Oliver Quick spends a summer at Saltburn. If he wants to control the estate, to have everything that Felix has and more, then he'll have to take control of you, too-- and you're inclined to let him.

Saltburn was a magical place where it seems like anything and everything happened. People fell in love, people fell out of love, secrets formed, secrets were uncovered, people came, people went, people lived, and people died. Saltburn was a tragic place that deserved more than what was told, especially when an outsider had finally made it in.
Felix and Mariana loved eachother more than the fire loved oxygen. But... it was hard to focus at Saltburn. And Saltburn was unforgiving.
