Summary
The Dfic Discord Server is running a monthly challenge in 2025 to write short-form discipline fiction stories. You get 30 minutes to write as fast as you can!
I'll be collecting all of failures (took more than 30 minutes, went back in and added more, etc. etc.) as well as any successes with original characters here in one place. Each chapter will have a summary with pairing, implement, and any other triggers I can think of, but I won't be updating the tags as that could get very confusing.

This may be my single favorite parental-feel dfic IN EXISTENCE.
It's the complexity of the characters, the way I can never predict which way Jared is going to go in his next lines in a scene because he feels like a whole and entire person!!
It's Ivan's clear and obvious love for his grandson, and his gruff way of showing it.
It's Irena's putting-up-with-it-all mild exasperation and concern. AND THE FUCKING BACKSTORY, which leaks out in little lore drops.
I dunno. I just love all of it.

Is this the best Christmas Crackfic ever written? Yes. Yes it is.
And yet, due to the author's extreme talent and skill, it is still somehow a believable and touching story of a young man getting taken down a peg in the best most justified way possible. INCREDIBLE.

‘What the fuck?’ Roy heard Jamie hiss. ‘What did I do? Is he always like this?’
‘Dunno,’ Isaac said. ‘Never seen anyone ask him before.’
‘What?’ Jamie’s voice went high and incredulous.
‘Well, yeah, I think you might be the first fella round here to ask him,’ Colin said. ‘I didn’t think—um. Well, y’know.’
‘What? Didn’t think—?’ Jamie repeated. The disbelief was thicker now, shocked and sharp and serrated at the edges. ‘Fuckin’ what?’
Roy jerked on his jeans. He wanted up and out of the building as fast as humanly possible.
‘He’s your fucking captain.’ Jamie’s voice was furious. ‘Why the fuck ain’t anyone asked your fucking captain?’
‘Because he’s fuckin’ Roy Kent. Who the fuck has the balls to ask Roy Kent?’
‘Except for apparently you,’ Richard put in wryly, ‘but it seems you are either very stupid or you desire death.’
There was a little burst of tense laughter.
‘What the fuck. Are these twats takin’ the piss?’ Jamie turned on Roy. His voice was hoarse with outrage. ‘None of ’em’s fuckin’ asked you? Ever?’
Nobody was prepared for Jamie Tartt’s arrival at Richmond.
Especially not Roy Kent.
