Pedri is standing in front of a bathroom mirror, the lighting yellow and unflattering enough that Ferran suspects he has taken the picture without much thought. His hair is still platinum. He is also shirtless, because apparently there are no longer laws governing what Pedri is allowed to send Ferran at one fourteen in the morning.
“Joder,” he murmurs, and it somehow echoes in the room.
Ferran forces his eyes back at Pedri’s face, and that’s when he notices there’s a text beneath the photograph;
A Lannister always keeps his promise. Or whatever they said in that stupid show you watched.
He laughs. It escapes before he can stop it, and it sounds almost foreign to his ears.
It’s ‘ a Lannister always pays his debts’, he types, before he can stop himself, and after a moment he adds, And you look more Targaryen anyway.
Or; Ferran returns home after winning the World Cup and things are much, much worse than they were before he left. He had no idea that was even possible...

They are both young and famous, with too much to protect. And it's so easy to get caught, miss a camera here, a wandering eye there. He’s simply on a quick, sick rampage, he tells himself.
The back of his neck is sweating, the scent-blocking patch fusing into bare skin, baby hairs curled up against his nape in the wet warmth.
