Summary
Ever since Miles was six, he's been sent up and down Mobius to different businesses and farms as an 'extra helping hand' It's the same cycle every couple of months and it's never exactly pleasant so he thinks nothing different of it as he gets on the bus heading to Gravity Falls to help out at some tourist trap in the woods.
However, what he doesn't expect is that the manager and his employees are... strangely nice to him and soon he'll learn that there is far more to this random, small town than meets the eye.

Summary
When the world is in danger from a threat as dangerous as the sea, people believe the gods are to blame, but if there's one thing the crew of the Angel's Voyage knew, it's that it was all the fault of a human. A human who had hurt the great god of the seas, and it was their mission to stop this man and bring peace back to the world.
The crew thought it would be easy, but after meeting a little orphaned fox cub, they begin to discover that caring for others is perhaps more complicated than it seems at first glance. But they won't give up, because, isn't it children like this the reason of why they want to build a better world?
The little boy doesn't know what's going on, he doesn't even understand why these people fight so much, but they are his family now, and protecting them has become his top priority, and he won't let anyone hurt them, even if it means having a few run-ins with the police from time to time.

Tails nods and then fumbles on his own sunglasses because like, of course he’s got a pair, fake beachside gambling is a family-friendly activity, before gathering up the deck. He gives it a few clumsy shuffles, handing them seven cards each before placing it in the center of their makeshift table and tossing the sand dollars in after it. They spill, sprawling out into a messy almost-circle. It’s dramatic. It’s cinematic. It’s perfect.
“The game is seven card go-fish, big rig rules,” he announces. “No peeking, no cheating, no double-dealing, no frying, no flying, no casting or reeling, and absolutely no baiting, no hold, no bar! I want a good, clean game, you understand?”

"Nothing was happening," Tails grumbles a bit too gloomy for his brother not to notice.
"I can tell by your gleeful demeanor," Sonic retorts.
"Do you even know what those words mean?" Tails asks and rolls his eyes.
"I know a lot of words, I know all of them, actually," Sonic responds and uses his upper body strength to sit up without moving his legs. The hedgehog grabs one of the fox's tails and starts running his fingers through it. Tails only flinches a little when the hedgehog's thumb brushes over the scar at the base, "But that's not the point, you've been acting off ever since you and the kiddos had that talk. They were being nice to you, right?"

Father's Day is on the horizon, and leading up to it, the little fox is faced with questions about the nature of his and Sonic's relationship, as well as his own function in the great story of Sonic The Hedgehog.
