“Bloodsucker.” He greeted, leaning one elbow against the bar and crowding into Adam’s space as much as was possible when there was a long wooden slab between them, “How’s it going?”
Adam couldn’t stop the look of disgust from crawling onto his face, but he quickly tamped it down into an apathetic expression, “What do you want?”
“No warm welcome?” The man mocked.
“For you?” Adam responded? “Not likely.”
“Seems like everything worked out well for you.” The man rapped his knuckles against the bar and looked Adam up and down in a slow movement, “All things considered.”
If Adam could blush, he would have.
The first time Adam had seen this man, he hadn’t thought much about him, a little bit too panicked at that moment. But now that he was right in front of him, looming into his space, Adam realised that he was really quite attractive, which was infuriating. He hated it when mean people were attractive, because it always seemed like such a waste.

Summary
Dorlene fanfic, that begins in 5th year and goes onwards past their time at Hogwarts and into the First Wizarding War. It follows the marauders timeline, so you will most likely recognise some scenes from the HP books. It is mainly from Marlene's perspective but other characters do get chapters and extracts. These characters are all represented how I personally view them so please do remember that if a character doesn't look/act how you expected them to, this is just my representation of them.

Edit: I started writing this a few years ago and wasn't able to complete it. I am back but I'm not establishing a posting schedule, I'll post when chapters are ready and when I have time. Thank you nonetheless. Do note the tone might change in newer chapters as I'm older now and so have a different perception of the characters and events occurring. My views on JK Rowling, however, have not changed and with all the increased homo/transphobia (alongside all forms of harmful discrimination) in the world, I want to reestablish that none of that bullshit will be tolerated here.
