Summary
They aren't Quirkless, but most people think they are.
Kiku tries (oh how she tries) to explain that they aren't, that their Quirk only affects them, but no one believes her. Sayo does her best to help, comes up with new things Kiku can say to convince everyone, but she has to take care of their brothers and can't do it all the time. Eventually, Kiku stops trying and starts just not caring. Let the world think they're Quirkless, their stupidity just means she'll get to laugh when they finally realise the truth.
They don't dream. They never have.
Instead, when Kiku goes to sleep with aching bruises and stinging burns and the sweet smell of nitroglycerin still stuck in her nose, Sayo wakes up to a setting sun and warm sheets and the brine of sea salt.
AKA: I wanted ASL to have a big sister and this was what I came up with.

Summary
It was amazing that once she had someone by her side willing to fight for her, how she too started to fight. Once she saw someone fight for her it was like the fire that had been starting to die down was rekindled. She vowed never to let go of it again.
What could have been the worst night of her life and the catalyst of her downfall became a turning point in her path to ascension.
*Harwin dies and, after being shown the death of his children and Rhaenyra, wakes up on the night Daemon took Rhaenyra into King's Landing and is determined to do everything to ensure the past does not happen again and that his children and the woman he loves never have to experience the misery they did in his past life.
