When Castiel was human he roamed far from the bunker as per request by Dean, slowly the trees shed their leaves and the days shortened as the end of the year approached.
Castiel in his human form was forced to find shelter for Christmas, alone in the winter cold.
Then as Castiel got kicked out for causing a ruckus which culminated with him spending Christmas eve on a bench park.
"Hello Castiel." A thick accent appeared from above him. He opened his eyes to a vision he was unammused by, "Cmon Cas- don't mope I hear it's bad for the wings."
