Summary
Conner had a pretty good life, all things considered. He wouldn't necessarily call it a great life, but it was good enough.
Sure, living alone at Mount Justice with only a robot for company could get lonely sometimes, but he had his independence, his freedom from Lex, and his teammates on Young Justice.Unfortunately, no matter how content he was with his life, he could never quite shake the way he ached for Superman's approval. The way his insides twisted when his mistakes were met with harsh words and punishing hands. The way jealousy sunk its claws in deep every time he had to watch Superman and Jon interact. Still, he had a pretty good life, and that was all he needed.
But when an accident ends with Conner being thrown through a wall and Superman learning that his clone isn't quite as tough as he seems, that pretty good life comes crashing down around his shoulders. Superman insists these changes are for the best, that he's trying to make amends and help, but Conner isn't so sure. Not that anybody ever seemed to care what he thought.
At least Jon had a pretty cool video game collection. Maybe living with the Kents wouldn't be so bad.

Life changing once again

Summary
Jason has put his life back together just in time to see the whole world fall apart. As the pandemic spreads across Gotham, he's struggling to maintain his new and fragile equilibrium in the face of two separate pressure points:
One, he's back working in Bruce's restaurant while his own joint's launch seems to be dying before it can even get off the ground, frustrated and beset by relationships still fraught with trauma. And two, he's walked back into a Gotham he can barely recognize, with people locked down in their homes, the streets paved with fear of a choking, ugly, infectious death, and an attack on Alfred that he can't avenge.

Summary
He expects Lan Zhan to stare at him with that affected, bored look he puts on when he thinks a conversation is beneath him, or tell him he’s being silly, or maybe even ignore the joke and do that thing with his eyes that’s like rolling them but far more dignified—any of the things the Lan Zhan of ten years ago would have done in response to Wei Ying’s banter. It’s been a decade since they’ve seen each other, but all of Wei Ying’s nervous energy is manifesting in him acting out old habits, picking up right where they left off before Wei Ying left behind the school and their friendship. It almost feels normal.
But Lan Zhan does the only other thing Wei Ying is used to him doing: he surprises Wei Ying. He takes another, smaller step into Wei Ying’s space, shaking his head minutely. “No, I was glad to hear about your appointment.”

Wei Ying accepts a job teaching composition at the music college where he met Lan Zhan. He wants to rekindle their friendship and leave the past behind him, but that's a lot easier said than done.
