Summary
Jack doesn't understand his episodes, those little moments where he swears he catches a glimpse of another life. The in-between, stuck knowing no matter how many questions he might have that an answer will never come.
It's kind of hard to stay mad for long, though, when his boyfriend is off getting himself killed trying to dismantle a new dragon hunter group. He can't help but tag along.

Summary
When Hiccup Haddock moves in with his aunt and uncle for college, the last thing he expects is to stumble into the world of legends. But when his cousin Pippa insists that her mysterious friend Jack Frost is real, Hiccup discovers - much to his shock - that she’s telling the truth.
Becoming Jack’s first and only adult believer throws both of them into uncharted territory. At first, they clash - but slowly, they forge a strong and unlikely friendship. The closer they grow, the more obvious it becomes to everyone else - kids, Guardians, and meddling gods alike - that something bigger is taking shape... and a few of them can't resist interfering.

Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.
