Summary
What if he never became an Auror, had a completely different routine, never ventured into the Muggle world, and spent 18 months in the cold Northern prison?
All he had to do after Azkaban was hold it together.
Continued fistfights land him back in the DMLE’s holding cells. He waits out the holding period, needles Potter, and gets released, on repeat.
After another scuffle, the Ministry has had it. They come through with one last deal, and Draco almost wishes he was headed back to Azkaban when he finds out the terms. Because he’s going to be the guinea pig for their newest project; a rehabilitation program headed up by the one and only Hermione Granger. He gets to learn about the Muggle world, attend sessions with a Mind Healer, and try to keep his nose clean.
Everyone seems hellbent on his redemption.
Draco tries to decide whether or not he’s worth it.
--
“You’ll do this.” Potter stated, standing. Suddenly. Rapidly. He unfurled, and Draco saw the hardened Auror persona, the defensive man, clearer than anything else he had seen in months — years. “You know why, Malfoy?”
Draco narrowed his eyes as Potter leaned over the table.
“Because you owe her.”

Summary
After over a decade spent in Azkaban Prison, Draco Malfoy is not the boy he once was and has long since abandoned any hopeful notions that his annual hearing will end differently than any of the others. Hope, after all, is a liability for someone in his position and something he abandoned ages ago. So, imagine his surprise when the presence of a new judge on the panel, a man with whom he's always shared a mutual dislike, results in his sudden release into the custody of the estranged wife he thought he'd divorced years earlier.
Six months under one roof with the only woman he's ever really loved.

Great story that I read as a WIP, with a very engaged comment section, including the author. -

Summary
“I feel like—a meteor crashed into my house and I’m the only one who can see it. I feel like a sketch on a piece of parchment instead of a real person. I feel like I will curse the next person who tells me to ‘just enjoy it’.”
Hermione never thought she would be a solo parent. No one told her that it would be boring, and devastating, and that she would be filled with so much joy that she might burst any second.
No one told Draco he'd feel the same way.

Summary
Hermione couldn’t deny that she watched Malfoy. Studied him, thought of him far more than was appropriate for someone who shared a bedroom with another man.
And now, in this darkened hallway at two in the morning, she couldn’t deny she could hear Malfoy doing…well, something that she probably shouldn’t be listening to.
OR
After the war, a group of friends stay in the safehouse they lived in during the war. Hermione suffers from insomnia and Draco Malfoy seems to be the only one who notices. Also, the walls in the safehouse are rather…thin.
