Summary
Presumed beta Ilya Rozanov unexpectedly goes into his first heat at age seventeen, forcing him into a life of hiding in order to be able to play the sport he’d built his life around; the sport that could be his ticket out of Russia and away from his family that hates him. When he meets the Canadian draft favorite, beta Shane Hollander, Ilya assumes that the only obstacles this Hollander guy will be able to throw at him will be dealt with on the ice.
