“What he’s done!” The shout slashes up Goro’s throat, so loud Akira blinks, but Goro just squeezes his shoulders until his fingers ache and yells right in Akira’s stunned face: “Maruki thinks he knows what’s best for us—built this whole world and dragged me back from the dead and promises to make us happy but do you even know what he did to me?! What he’s already taken from me?!”

Summary
Objectively, if Akechi were a normal detective, there would be no way to connect magical cat ears to being a Phantom Thief. But he’s not, or at least he probably isn’t, because he can hear Morgana, and that means he knows this is probably a Metaverse thing, and why did Akira agree to this, this was so stupid, he is going to get arrested and then murdered and thrown in jail in probably not that order, and, oh.
There’s a hand in his hair.
(Kurusu is infuriating and beautiful and an exception to everything. Kurusu is standing in front of him with wide eyes and big feline ears, and Goro is coming to realize that he is a fucking sucker, and he should really leave, and he definitely won’t.)

Naruto grinned, and Sasuke realized that although he had never considered sober Naruto to be a good decision maker, tipsy Naruto was possibly among the worst. “We could have a competition,” he said as he wiggled his eyebrows.
“And the competition would be–”
“We have sex and figure out who's better.” Naruto shrugged nonchalantly, as if this wasn't the most insane thing that had ever come out of his already very unhinged mouth. “Duh.”
The ocean was back, whirling inside Sasuke's head. It was a storm inside his mind, a hurricane and a tsunami at the same time. Bad idea, bad bad bad, the worst– his thoughts were drowned out by the sound of crashing waves.
“Sure,” he felt his mouth move and make the shape of the word.———
Naruto & Sasuke get into a tipsy argument and decide that the best way to figure out who is better in bed is to sleep with each other, because they’re dumb and gay.

Sasuke and Naruto are trying to keep their relationship private. They're terrible at it.

The secrecy of their relationship has nothing to do with shame — Naruto and Sasuke actually have a few good reasons to keep it that way.
First, if Sasuke's nosy roommate ever found out about them, he would definitely meddle in their relationship and make Sasuke's life hell.
Second, if Naruto's obnoxiously straight roommate ever found out, he… actually, they didn't know how he would react.
Third, it is really fucking hot to keep it a secret.

Summary
Goro Akechi's wings don't move.
Sure, Akira's seen them move. He's seen them ruffle with pleasure at a joke and flare slightly to accompany a passionate speech. But all of that happens on TV. It's all on purpose. When Akechi isn't intentionally acting, his wings don't move.
And it's weird.
Or: 5 times Akechi's wings were honest with Akira and 1 time they both tried to use their words.
