Summary
There were several things that Shion could’ve done today instead of training. A clean basket of unfolded laundry was tucked away at the foot of her bed, the notes for her dance choreography assignment sat completely untouched on the back of her desk, and on top of that, she still needed to send her racewear back in for restitching. It felt like every time she looked at it there were new threads beginning to fray, even though she hadn’t run in a G1 for months.
Instead, she reached over to her nightstand, grabbing her phone and a pair of flat earbuds that sat on top of her freshly ironed ear covers, slipping them into the lining before wiggling her ears into their muffled warmth. A silent notification told her that they were connected before she opened Umatter.
Her previous night's searches were still loaded on the screen. Images of the final stretch of the Nakayama racecourse from last December, herself and Orfevre separated by the world between them in the centre of the frame.
After the Arima Kinen, Win Variation and Orfevre run towards different futures, and Shion is left to pick up the pieces with whatever help she finds along the way.

Tokai Teio, the star who won McQueen’s heart instead, is nowhere to be seen.
As fire burns through the trees and she awakens a terrifying power, the attention of an entire nation is fixed upon Nice Nature’s head, and fate demands that she fulfill an impossible prophecy. And the longer that Nature spends in Ashglame, the more she becomes convinced of one thing:

Summary
Win Variation woke up to the sound of feverish knocking on her door. Just one weary look around her bedroom immediately explained the racket. Red and white pennants had been strung up all around the room while she’d slept, and the letters ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ had been suspended above her desk as bright balloons.
“Chevacchiiii!” someone yelled from behind the door. “Open up already!”
Cheval Grand was sitting in her chair across the room, already fully dressed in jeans and her blue letterman jacket. “I’m sorry, Shion. I told them both to wait until you were awake.”
“Don’t worry about it,” Shion laughed as she pushed herself upright in bed. The very slight stick of springtime sweat covered her t-shirt, but something told her that the pounding on her door wouldn’t stop for a shower. “They really won’t wait, huh?”
The V Sisters' competitive natures flare up when they can't agree on how best to spend Win Variation's birthday this year, and Shion ends up caught in the middle of their contest.
