    Shane saw the water a second before Ilya vanished underneath it. Hayden grabbed hold of the deck, and somehow grabbed Shane just as his legs hit the water. Fuck, it was cold. ‘I’ve got you,’ he called.
    But Shane’s brain stopped working. ‘Ilya! Ilya! I have to go after him, Hayden, please.’
    ‘Shane, he’s gone,’ Hayden said, face white with shock.
    Shane jerked his hand, desperately trying to peel his fingers free. ‘Let me go,’ he cried, panic seizing every muscle. ‘Please, I have to get Ilya.’ 
    Water rushed over their feet, a dark, gurgling vortex that had swallowed Ilya whole.
    ‘No,’ Hayden cried. ‘I won’t let go, Shane. You’ll die, too.’ 

    The night before the All Stars game, Hollander, Rozanov, Pike, Hunter and Vaughn attend the launch of a high-tech cruise ship. Only, the ship is hijacked and sent careering across the ocean. With the ship's captain frozen out of the controls, Hunter must come up with a plan to save everyone on board. But Hollander is missing and Rozanov can't breathe from panic. They've barely spoken since his tuna meltdown, and Ilya's come to the horrifying realisation he's totally in love with his rival. What if he never gets chance to tell him?

    Hayden watched, feeling numb, as Shane let Rozanov tug him into a kiss. Oh. Oh fuck. Fuck, that was hot.
    “You like watching, Pike?” Rozanov asked, without turning his face away from Shane’s.
    “Fuck you, Rozanov,” Hayden snapped reflexively. “… Yes.”

    Canon-divergent AU where Hayden tells Shane he’s bisexual before Shane gets a chance to come out to him, and things escalate quickly from there. AKA, the Hayden in a Hollanov sandwich smutfic that no one everybody asked for.
