Summary
In Ireland, 1939, Eoin has spent years hiding a part of himself he was taught to fear.
He knows what the law, the Church, and society think of men like him. He knows what could happen if anyone finds out.
So when his older brother Ambrose discovers that Eoin is gay, fear turns into anger, and a heated argument leaves Eoin running into the countryside with a broken heart and bloodied knuckles.
The last person Eoin expects to find him is Paddy.
