Felix has always believed that most problems can be handled with a steady hand and a little patience. Bent metal, bad moods, bruised egos—give it time, and things settle.
So when a new racing game arrives at the arcade and draws a little more attention than usual, Felix isn’t worried. Trends come and go. Crowds shift. Everything finds its balance again.
Turbo is still Turbo. Still confident. Still brilliant behind the wheel.
At least, that’s what Felix tells himself.
But between late-night conversations at Tapper’s and passing glances across the Game Central Station floor, small moments begin to feel heavier than they should. And as reassurances grow easier to give, they start to feel harder to examine.
After all, nothing’s really wrong.
