In an attempt to create merely a companion---a friend---Lucifer's pride and resentment poison the effort, bringing to life a being draped in crimson robes, resembling a forest beast with tufted ears, antlers, and an unsettlingly wide smile. The creature calls itself Sin.
Lucifer hides his creation within the walls of his palace, growing closer until their relationship becomes blasphemous. But Lucifer can only conceal the truth from his twin brother and the Heavenly Council for so long.

Lucifer is in an abusive relationship with Adam. He tells everything Adam does and puts him through to his therapist, Alastor Hartfelt. Each session he gets more comfortable talking about his issues and emotional state. He often wonders if he’s spilling too much of his troubles and worries his therapist may one day call the police.
Alastor has been Lucifer’s therapist the past year. The things the other endures from his so-called boyfriend make his blood boil. It seems the blond comes in with new bruises and scrapes each week. He can’t admit to himself that he’s slowly falling for his patient but he's had enough of Adam’s torment to Lucifer… and decides to take matters into his own hands.
