Summary
The Chesapeake ripper.
Will is working relentlessly to catch him, embracing his visions and allowing the pursuit to chip away at what remains of his sanity. Yet every time he comes close to catching the killer, the ripper is always one step ahead, almost as if he could read Will's inner thoughts and know about his plans.
As will continues to consult to his therapist, Hannibal Lecter, he ends up making a terrifying realisation which ends up costing him not just his freedom but also his mind.

Summary
Will Graham has a stalker.
Unfortunately for him, Jack Crawford takes that problem far more seriously than he does. After burning through an impressive number of bodyguards, Will is convinced the newest one won’t last any longer than the others.
What he doesn’t expect is Dr. Hannibal Lecter.
Surgeon. Bodyguard. Apparently impossible to lose. Will is determined to make his life difficult.
Hannibal finds the challenge fascinating.

Bond glanced back at Q, who looked moments away from falling asleep.
The paramedic shrugged. "People get emotional, less guarded." She paused, giving Bond A Look. "Sometimes more affectionate than usual."
Bond looked down at the hand still holding onto his sleeve.
Instead of moving away, he carefully shifted closer, close enough that Q wouldn't have to reach.
It seemed to be the final straw. Q let his eyes close, his grip loosen slightly, but it didn't disappear.
He would be okay. Bond had him.

Summary
Prince Will is struck by a terrible curse which renders him unable to physically touch anything or anyone in the waking world. His only respite is his dream world, a curious plane of rolling purple hills with only one other resident: a red-eyed shapeshifter who keeps him company. As the years pass, Will comes to realize two things about this stranger.
Firstly, this is the man who cursed him.
And secondly, he is, by design, the only real connection Will has.
After a point, Will no longer cares what the stranger did to him. If Will can't enjoy anything else, he may as well enjoy what the dream has to offer.
After all, what's the harm when none of it is real?
