Caitlyn swallowed. “Look, I don't know how, or why, or… whatever, but I think somehow, for some reason, we're all inside the video game.”
Vi stared at her for a solid second. “Nope. That's insane.”

Summary
Six days ago, astronaut Caitlyn Kirramman became one of the first people to walk on Mars.
Now, she’s sure she’ll be the first to die there.
Finding herself stranded and completely alone, Caitlyn must battle against the hostile nature of an unfamiliar world and her own mounting despair to make it home before her dwindling resources run dry.
Vi is a low ranking nobody, taking the 3am shift at Piltover’s space agency and wishing she could be anywhere else, so when she gets assigned as Caitlyn Kiramman’s only contact with Runeterra, she has to wonder what the hell just happened.
Suddenly thrust into the limelight, with a task that really matters, Vi gives it all she’s got, but does she have what it takes to keep Caitlyn from losing hope, and can she overcome her own mounting fear that she just might not be enough.

Summary
Vi's eyes land on her new boss, Detective Inspector Caitlyn Kiramman, tugging at the neck of her turtleneck jumper as she slowly boils alive inside it. She was sent in about a week ago from the MET in Piltover, and she’s about the least suited person Vi can possibly imagine for working on a tropical island. As far as Vi can work out, Inspector Kiramman seemingly hates the sun, sand, insects, heat, and anything that would fall under the twin umbrellas of ‘loosening up’ or ‘having some fun’. She’s also mentioned enough times to warrant being hit that she can’t get a good cup of tea around here, and that she misses the ‘predictably miserable weather’ of Piltover.
All in all, Vi hates the Detective Inspector, and the fact that she’s the hottest woman Vi’s ever met really doesn’t help.

Summary
Vi nods. "Yeah, I just… Sorry. I wanted to talk to you actually."
The silence presses hard against Caitlyn's ears, and she has to force her voice to keep steady as she replies. "Oh? What about?"
For another horrible moment, it's silent again, and then Vi speaks. "I want you to meet my parents," she says. "As my girlfriend I mean." Caitlyn's world reassembles itself, now threatening to fall apart in an entirely different way.

Vi finally decides that she wants to come out to her parents, and Caitlyn is right there beside her.

A possible future. We're meant to lose this fight. Part of him still thought that. Another part searched for a glimpse of hope in Cait's eyes.
With war looming over Piltover and Zaun, Cait and Jayce find a minute to talk. One last conversation between found siblings.

Caitlyn stared back at her, ears burning, at the absolutely absurd request. No one, no one on this green earth, could make the infamous disaster that was Powder’s sister dateable. It was absolutely ridiculous to think anyone would want to date the girl who insisted her birth name was Violence no matter how anyone prettied her up. It was a doomed project and she should say as much.
“You got a deal,” she said instead.
