   Summary

his pristine, unbreakable marble skin has finally cracked and the shards are covered in blood that, for the first time, doesn‘t belong to someone else. his bright eyes stand out amongst the gory red canvas— like heaven and hell. the contrast almost paints him as something innocent, a saint, even while he sits there dripping in sin.

butcher finds that he enjoys the way his baby blues glaze over in pure, unfiltered fear.

or; butcher decides homelander doesn’t deserve a quick death. he wants to get revenge first.

All they had to do was just play a game. Homelander doesn't know how to lose. Soldier Boy doesn't want to walk away without a prize. And the door... it would've been better to lock the door...

Daddy's having a nice game of cards with his son.
