    “I am not sick,” he huffed, pushing past her. Knowing she shouldn't, she laughed at his embarrassment.

    Really should have kissed him last night, she told herself. It wasn't a thought she had often. In fact, she couldn't remember really ever having the desire. But the mage was so easy to work up that had she done it, she knew he would have spit and sputtered at her boldness.

    This is a retelling of Days Before Shadow but from Tinessi's POV since no story in the entire Tinessi Ilphelkiir series is told from her persepective. Some chapters will be rewrites and some chapters will be entirely new situations.
