Five years ago, Emma met Ben in the restaurant she was working in… he had started as their new cook, and they fell in love after three weeks… they went out… they spent time together, and they slept together…
She moved in after five months, and everything was really good… he made her little presents, and after Emma got an offer to work in an other restaurant, she took it, because she got a bit more money.
Sometimes he came home from work, and brought her something like jewellery or that one time, he even brought her new headphones… but after three years… it just stopped. She didn’t know why, but something had stopped. If they had been sleeping together three times a day or at least a week, they were sleeping together only once per month. And then there were his parents and… someone else, who made Emma a simple offer… well… "simple"

it’s christmas time in storybrooke, and it couldn’t be better—or so you think. but when your girlfriend breaks up with you via phone while you are at work, everything seems to fall apart for you. luckily for you, your boss, who happens to be mayor regina mills, makes you a very generous offer you can’t refuse. she invites you to spend one week around christmas with her and her son henry, so you do. but it’s not only the christmas lights that begin to shine during this week; in addition to the smell of cinnamon, love also seems to linger in the air...
