  Summary

  Michelle Irura Jones was bitten by a genetically spliced radioactive spider on May 7th, 2015 while on an end of year middle school field trip for her graduating class. She didn’t tell a soul. Besides, what was there to tell? So she got a little fever afterwards, big deal. It went away. Eventually.

  And so what if she stuck to walls? So what if she could lift the entire living room sofa one-handed? Sure it freaked her out so bad that she had curled up in bed completely submerged in blankets and cried herself to sleep, but that was middle school MJ, the old MJ. High school MJ was going to be a totally cool mysterious badass. Highschool MJ would never cry if girls made fun of her and threw her sketchbook in the toilet, not like middle school MJ, so why would she cry about some stupid spider bite? Michelle Jones was going to live a normal life, spider bite be damned.

  Or

  What if MJ had powers instead of Peter and her hero mentor was Natasha Romanov? And what if what brings them together is Tony Stark recruiting her to go to Germany?

  Also: Irura as MJ’s middle name is a fun reference to be revealed later in the fic
