Summary
In 120 AC, King Viserys I Targaryen summons a Great Council to settle the succession crisis surrounding Rhaenyra, Aegon, Daeron, Daemon, Baela, Rhaena, several Valyrian bastards, and other Targaryen claimants. To everyone's shock, Viserys names his second son, Prince Aemond Targaryen, as heir to the Iron Throne.
A few years after Aemond becomes king, the realm's lords pressure her to marry, hoping their sons might become King Consort. Rather than surrendering her independence to one powerful family, Aenna proposes taking consorts.
