Based off of the prompt: 5 times Arthur almost catches Merlin using his magic and one time he does.
Merlin's absolutely driving himself crazy cause he just knows Arthur's figured out that he's not actually going to the tavern. For some reason, Gwaine finds this absolutely hilarious and is absolutely no help at all.
He's doomed.

Summary
“I’m leaving.” Merlin says, because this situation already cost him his Duolingo streak, and he’s too tired to deal with Arthur when the food Gaius is serving him looks like it belongs on a list of war crimes committed by the Canadian soldiers.
“Where to?” His mentor asks, and Merlin shrugs, before going to his room and packing his bag.
“India. Gaius, I have decided I don’t give a damn, especially not when having to eat that bland food. I’ll be back in three months, make sure Arthur doesn’t die when I’m out.”
“Merlin!” And maybe, if he was younger and didn’t travel back to the past last month, he would’ve actually cared about the ‘eyebrow of disapproval’.
Or, a 1500yo Merlin gets zapped to the past during his vacation to Cuba. You’d think he’s happy to see Arthur again. He’s not.

Summary
It's funny, how crucial certain events are in the formation of a world's history. At the last possible second, the world is turned aside from its certain end when Obito receives access to some knowledge and abilities from a future that can result only in the end of the world. He's able to save Rin and return to Konoha, but his time in Madara's cave has changed him.
Kakashi was there even before he was, but now that they're reunited, they can team up to save the world. If they work together, surely there's nothing that they can't do.
A lot is still rotten with their world—but it's the last possible timeline that doesn't lead to the inevitable end of the world, and their family and friends are mostly still alive, so Kakashi and Naruto will take it. It's not the best timeline—it's just the last good one.(Originally based on a genjutsu world a bit like the Infinite Tsukuyomi, designed to torture the victims with visions of realities that could have been, but I grew fond of that world and made it an actual AU. It's not a perfect world, but its idealised nature lends itself to positive feels, so—!)
