5 times Draco Malfoy comforts Harry through a nightmare (and one time when the roles are reversed) by VegOut

Summary
Harry thought that the nightmares had stopped. The summer after Voldemort’s death, Harry had slept without dreaming at all, and for that he was grateful. He guessed he had seen so much death in his waking hours that his brain was giving him a break in his slumbering hours. About one week into Harry’s “8th year,” at Hogwarts, his brain apparently decided that his break was over. Or, the fic in which Draco Malfoy has to comfort Harry Potter after his nightmares return.

“Um,” Shane says helpfully.

“You have never built a nest in your life?” Eky repeated, stunned.
Mack’s cheeks flushed, pink blooming. He hated that his body did that. Hated that it gave him away. He tried to shrug, but it looked more like he folded in on himself.
“I don’t… I don’t know how to,” he admitted.Bookmarked by VegOut

Summary
“The Centaurs’ plane had to make an emergency landing.” Yuna said, her voice the same kind of gentle she reserved for bad news. “There was a fire. I haven’t gotten a hold of Ilya yet, but from what I do know, it sounds like everyone will be ok.”
“Holy shit.” Shane leaned forward, covering his face. “Holy shit.” He breathed. His whole body was numb with panic now.
———AU where the emergency landing was worse than the book.

Summary
Mack had been getting ready to wallow, to head back to Vancouver, where his family were busy and he would mostly be left to his own devices, when a shadow appeared in front of him.
Looking up, there he was. Standing tall and proud, regal and captainly, not at all like he had just had a 19 year old calling the shots over him, was Sidney Crosby.
Sid looked down at him, with those kind eyes that had looked at Mack with awe and happiness since they first played together, those eyes that could offer a shoulder without saying a single word.
And he offered him an opportunity. Mack had already had the opportunity to go to Nova Scotia and train with Sid, and Nate, but that was less important, but this offer was something different. Something more.
