Summary
For all the ways he'd seen her carve bloody paths through their enemies, for all the times he'd watched her stand defiant against creatures that would bring most men to their knees - it most disturbed him to see her now, like this, twisted by guilt and self-loathing.
It was the closest Astarion had come to looking in a mirror in two centuries.

She's had enough of being lied to, of being kept in the dark, and when she's handed the bloodstained sash of a woman who had disappeared two months prior, she decides there is no choice but to act. Summary
A retelling of WTNC with some slightly differing scenes, expansion, and alternate POVs. Will eventually include explicit sex scenes.
When Tara Sand was summoned to help with the investigation in Lunaris, the last thing she expected was to end up falling desperately in love with her strict, impatient Enforcer. When Augustus Willenheim was informed they were getting a new subordinate to aid with the case, the last thing they expected was to feel so drawn in by her wild, unpredictable nature. But somehow the two of them found a balance in each other, a taste of the life neither of them had experienced.
What happens when you invite a wild animal into your home? August is soon to discover that for themself.

Summary
Cazador Szarr didn’t intend to turn a man like Astarion. That’s Aurelia’s working theory. Astarion—loud, prideful, panicky Astarion—was a crime of passion from a passionless monster. Astarion is a crime scene, not of a murder (murder isn’t a crime to a predator) but rather the crime of losing control. Aurelia is pretty sure Cazador couldn’t help himself. AKA: 5 times Cazador saw Astarion before he finally killed him.
