Summary
“You kept it,” Aerion teases, holding the dagger up between them. Dunk almost fears he’s going to try and gut him, but the look on his face says otherwise. Aerion steps close again, a sinister smile on his face as he looks up at Dunk. Even if Dunk is over a head taller than him, Aerion’s presence shortens the difference between them. He’s intimidating as he drags the tip of the dulled blade lightly over Dunk’s stomach. “How sentimental of you.”
Dunk stays silent.
“Do you think about that night often?” Aerion asks, his eyes turn downcast to watch the blade as he drags it lower.
Dunk’s hand catches Aerion’s wrist, pulling the dagger away from his manhood. His heart pounds against his ribs, making his breath come out unevenly as he listens to the prince.
“Because I do,” Aerion continues, “Every time I fuck someone, I imagine it’s you. I’ve sought you out in so many different men and women over the last two years, and yet none of them were you. You and what you did to me… You plague me, Ser Duncan. It’s quite irritating.”Series

Summary
It had taken years. Their marriage. To become whatever this arrangement had, in time, become. Aerion had learned to live with it. To swallow his pride. To accept defeat. To eventually love Duncan with all his heart and soul. To love his children so fully they would never know what it was to want for it.
He loved his family with every part of his being. He would die for them. He would shed blood to defend them. It was the purest love the Seven had ever seen fit to grant him.
And so, he guarded it fiercely. Everything else had been taken from him. This, the thing he had once fought against, at least remained.
----
Aerion had spent his youth surviving hatred. Believing himself unworthy of love. He had endured disgrace. Exile. A marriage born of duty and guilt. He had never imagined that the life forced upon him would become the one thing he could not bear to lose.
He never realized how easily old ghost could convince him to destroy it with his own hand.

Summary
The Dance of the Dragons left the Targaryen dragonlords weakened but not crippled. After Daemon I Blackfyre was killed at the Battle of the Redgrass Field, Aegor Rivers took several dragon eggs and two wild dragons from Dragonstone with him to Essos.
Now, Prince Aerion “Brightflame” is the best rider of his generation despite his young age and omega status, outflying even his alpha eldest cousin Prince Valarr. House Targaryen is no stranger to omega dragonrider warriors like the Conqueror Queen Rhaenys, but Aerion considers himself more of a Visenya. Yet war brims from across the Narrow Sea as Aegor and Daemon’s sons prepare to launch their second rebellion.

Summary
“Easy now, Your Grace. You’ll make the claim wound worse, and it’s ugly enough already. I’ve seen dogs mark each other gentler.”
Ser Duncan the Tall should have died at Ashford. Instead, he won—and in doing so, committed a greater offense: he put his teeth to a Targaryen prince. What passed between him and Prince Aerion refuses to stay buried. As whispers spread and the crown moves to contain what it cannot name, Dunk finds himself bound to the very man he should fear most—and cannot seem to leave.

Summary
Valarr gave him a grave look. “Kepa misses you.” He said plainly. “It has been three years, he was hoping—”
“I care not a whit for his hopes,” Maekar snapped. “Have you so easily fallen under his spell and forgotten what he did?”
Baelor lives. It does not make things easier.
