Last night, Lieutenant Hank Anderson was disturbed by an Android.
It had been sent to investigate the recent rise of "deviant" androids, malfunctioning on the basis of "emotions" they supposedly could not feel.
The prototype detective android, Connor, excelled in his first few cases. He wanted more, although completely unaware that this was wanting.You were a Detroit Police Officer living the life you trained for and loved, but you wanted more. Unsure what exactly could satiate that feeling, you were determined to climb the ranks of your career.
One morning, Captain Fowler offered you the opportunity to work alongside the Lieutenant and recently deployed android in a higher profile case than you'd ever been involved with before.If you somehow knew the pain, fear and heartache that came with accepting that offer, maybe you would've had second thoughts.

Summary
Since the Rebuild Detroit Initiative Markus has been championing in Washington has begun bringing citizens back to the city, a strange new rash of crime has left Hank Anderson and his android partner confused and concerned. With Detroit's android population still outnumbering its human one, the balance in Detroit is a delicate one, and the peace between the races is still fragile.
When a brutal murder leaves only one witness, the partners find themselves responsible for a young woman's safety. Though her testimony claims that androids were the perpetrators, Connor remains unconvinced and takes it upon himself to make sure that she survives long enough for the truth to be revealed.
It is even harder to do so as a new hacker virus begins to spread among Detroit's androids, one that seems designed to reset deviancy itself. As it evolves again and again, it will become a race against time to discover the origins of this new attack before even Connor's advanced cyber security protocols can no longer resist it's code.
