They were coming. There were footsteps in the hallway and the sounds of doors opening and closing and their pursuers searched the corridor.
“Judith!” Debbie repeated, glaring in her panic. “What are we going to do?! We’re not supposed to be here!”
“Shh shhh shh,” said Judith, raising a hand to calm her friend. “I’ll think of something.”
“They’re going to find us!” Debbie was rocking back and forth on her toes. “We should never have chanced this plan.”
“I’ve got it,” said Judith.
Two steps sounded close by, and then Debbie felt Judith’s arms wrap around her and lips against hers and then the door flew open, and Debbie didn’t care, because for a single moment, her senses were overwhelmed with Judith.
OR
a kiss to keep their cover awakens some not so dormant feelings in Debbie, and she spirals very quickly
