    Summary

Bruce Wayne is the world's foremost expert on Kryptonians, an ancient species that were once worshipped as gods.

When he mounts an expedition to locate the tomb of the god king, Kal-El, he gets more than he bargained for when he discovers that the mummy they found isn't very dead at all.

He never expected the Kryptonian to set his sights on him, however.

    Summary

He nuzzled against the fabric, eyes darting up for a second before looking back down. Kal looked… hopeful, if not a little bit sad. “Is there anything else I can do for you, Bruce?” He asked, tone soft. “You have to let me know now because if I-... if I stay, I'm going to go out of my mind and-”

“I need a baby,” Bruce said without thinking, immediately feeling his face grow hotter. “I mean I need you to put a baby in me!” A humiliated whine escaped him. “I need- I want-”

    “Woah!”

“Please, please, just give me a baby and then get the fuck out of my life!”

    Summary

Bruce hugged his brother Thomas. "I'll be okay," Bruce whispered, though his voice sounded hollow.

"That man murdered Mom and Dad!" Thomas shouted, his face flushed with rage and grief. "What's he going to do to you?"

"Nothing. Don't cry," Bruce replied, trying to compose himself. He turned to Alfred and hugged him. The old man looked at him with eyes full of sorrow. "You've grown so much, young Bruce," Alfred whispered. "I only wish for you a happy marriage and a home full of children."

"How can you be happy with a psychopath? After killing our parents, he dragged their bodies all over Gotham," Thomas spat, his anger barely masking his terror. "Don't go, Bruce! You can escape."

Bruce sighed, a sigh heavy with the weight of a crumbling kingdom. “Gotham has no money, there’s no food, people are dying of smallpox, and the criminals are worse. If I marry him, the Empire will send help. Besides, our uncle has already decided; it’s for the best.”

“I don’t want her! I don’t want her help!” Thomas shouted.
