    Glorfindel recognizes all of the blades Thorin's company found in the Troll Hoard, not just Orcrist and Glamdring, but also little Sting. The memories they bring back are far from pleasant, but his curiosity is raised and he finds he must seek out what else was left in the Troll Hoard, even if what he finds ends up being unpleasant.

    originally inspired by a character headcanon ask on tumblr and it was the “what’s heart-crushing and awful but fun to inflict on friends” part and my idea got so out of hand I turned it into this fic :)
