“Hey, FRIDAY?”
Peter looked up at the ceiling as he spoke even though he knew perfectly well that wasn’t how the AI worked. It just felt rude to not ‘look’ at her when he was speaking to her. Plus it always annoyed Tony which was a bonus.
“Yes Peter?” FRIDAY responded a second later and Peter bit his lip as he considered the best way to phrase his question.
“Hypothetically, what would you do if I got up to stretch my legs right now?” Peter asked as casually as possible and immediately FRIDAY’s tone somehow sounded disapproving.
“You are currently supposed to be on bed rest, Peter.” Was FRIDAY’s immediate response which Peter was of course well aware of.

Peter is on bedrest after his appendix ruptured and he had to have emergency surgery. He just wants to take a walk. Just a little one. Tony is not impressed

Peter’s first real Avengers mission was supposed to be the easy job: get everyone out. He did, and it nearly cost him everything. Waking up in the medical wing, he’s more afraid of being sent home than of the pain.
Tony Stark has never been good at saying the important things out loud. But he’s very good at pillows, boxed mac and cheese, and refusing to leave a hospital chair. Eventually, in the dark, a half-asleep “Thanks, Dad” gives him no choice.

Nobody apart from them knew why the billionaire had been able to snap his fingers and survive, except for his wife and the kid, that is. Thanos was gone for good, and Tony would be too if it hadn't been for the fact that he was a vampire. Fortunately he was just in a coma. And even though that meant he wasn’t dead, it also meant that Peter would unfortunately not be able to feed.
