He kind of feels like he’s going to puke. This was a bad idea. This was a terrible idea.

Buck’s voice is laced with awe as he whispers, "my boyfriend."
Eddie’s breath catches in his chest, and he feels heat climb all the way to his ears. He tries to hide his reaction, choosing to steer towards pointless humour instead. "You really just said that out loud?"
Buck's grin somehow grows, and his arms wrap tighter around Eddie’s waist. "My boyfriend."

“Today was a good day,” Eddie says after a while.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah. It’s stupid how happy I was today. How happy I always am whenever I’m with you.”
Buck’s smile turns into something real and Eddie feels like he’s won something. “It’s not stupid. I’m always happiest when I’m with you.”

Eddie has always wanted a romcom relationship. That moment you lock eyes, face flustered, hands shaking, and just know you've found the one. Well what would that truly look like for him, would he be so deep in love, no words would be exchanged. Or would this person truly understand him without saying a single thing. Never did Eddie imagine he'd meet his dream man in such a weird, but honestly cute, way.
