    Percy Jackson never made a conscious decision to stop eating, he loved food a whole lot, it just seemed like he couldn’t eat anymore. Food turned to ash in his mouth like the offerings they gave to the gods and each bite threatened to come back up. It was easier to just not eat then deal with all the feelings that food brought up.

    And food did bring up a whole lot of bad feelings. The feeling of fullness felt like Zeus bringing on a thunderstorm, it was dangerous. Blue pancakes used to be his favourite but now he can taste the assortment of sugar, food dye and syrup and he feels like he’s causing a disservice to himself. He needs to eat but nothing he does eat is good enough.

    Or Percy Jackson accidentally develops an Eating Disorder.
