“Just answer the question!” Holland pressed.
“I spent years on that avocado farm, Holl.” Jack reminded him. “I’ve done it enough to know I like it, okay? Drop it.”
“No, you can’t just leave it at that!” Holland said. “C’mon, c’mon, c’mon, you can’t just leave me hanging like—”
Jack growled and grabbed Holland, swinging him around and pressing him against the nearest wall, his hand over Holland’s mouth.
“If I let you fuck me, will you shut up?” He said lowly into Holland’s ear.
It was all he could do to nod, eyes wide, behind Jack’s hand.

Drunkard.
A total amateur. I wondered if these people were serious when they called him a professional.
Not that it was that bad...
At least the little girl was safe.
I wondered who she got that kindness from.

Summary
"Who the hell is that?" Colt demanded, the words hitting the quiet room like lead weights. "That car belonged to a mid-field amateur who died seven days ago. Now suddenly it’s executing perfect thermal management and flawless geometric sweeps?”
When a bankrupt team shoves tech Casey Daley, known as Driver in the paddock, into the cockpit after their main driver dies, he wants out. He doesn't want glory—just his wrench.
Colt Seavers—a weary F1 veteran—recognizes the kid is way out of his depth. When corporate extortion threatens Driver’s career, Colt strikes a deal: he’ll play the arrogant villain in a fake PR rivalry to protect Driver's credentials and keep his own face on screen to search for his missing brother.
-------_______ or
Colt uses Driver as his ticket to keep searching for his brother. It backfires when Colt falls head over heels for him while his search hits a wall. Driver just wants to survive—and now he needs Colt to survive as well.

Summary
Colt has been taking his recovery very seriously. It’s been only four months since Colt broke his back, and here he was, walking around his apartment, albeit slowly. Driver considers it nothing short of a miracle, even if he knows Colt feels otherwise.
Four months is a short amount of time to recover from an injury as severe as Colt’s, but it was an unbearably long time for Driver to go without speaking to him, seeing him. And so Driver finds himself here, selfish and greedy for Colt’s company. He’d found his limit. He cannot go more than four months without seeing Colt.
---
Driver figures out Colt is a vampire. He also knows Colt needs human blood to fully recover from his fall. Driver makes him an offer.
