Just two Homeworld gems trying to figure out life on the confusing, ever-changing planet Earth. Will they learn to adapt and change with it, or will they be forever trapped by their past? Much like a lapidary, perhaps they can help each other grow and shine into their best selves -- or even become something entirely new.
This fiction goes through the span of the Steven Universe show, keeping to canon as close as possible while showing Lapis and Peridot growing from enemies to roomies to lovers.
