Summary
The kitchen looked like a war zone. Flour covered almost every inch of the floor. Billy had voiced his complaints in the grocery store when Steve had grabbed the stupidly large bag of flour, knowing that Steve would make a mess with it. The various baking ingredients were scattered haphazardly on the counter near the sink. The sink itself was filled with just about every measuring device in the house. There was a whole bowl of prepared chocolate chip cookie dough just sitting on the counter. And Steve looked like a disaster.

Summary
“But especially that time, that blastedly, wicked, wonderful time.” Klaus’s voice took on that far away whisper again and as Five stared down at his curled up brother he didn’t need to see his eyes to know that they were glazed and far away.
“I can still hear the yelling, the screaming and the sound of guns and bullets. I can smell the dirt and sweat and the sour fear that always,” Klaus broke off to shudder, “saturated the air. But most of all, I can feel the stillness. I remember the world being too loud but so quiet while I yelled over and over for help, for a medic, for Dave.” Five noted that even now, Klaus breathed the name like a prayer.

Summary
Ilya Rozanov has spent ten years circling Shane Hollander. Ten years of hotel rooms and secret phone calls. Ten years of pretending he doesn't feel it, doesn't need it, doesn't wake up reaching for someone who's already gone. Ten years convincing himself he's not good enough. That he's not worth it.
Then a plane needs to make an emergency landing near Montreal, and Yuna Hollander is on it.
So when Shane calls him from a bathroom floor, unable to breathe, Ilya stops pretending.
After five hundred miles of frozen highway, three and a half hours of driving like a man possessed, a hospital waiting room full of people who have every reason to hate him, and a boy who looks at him like he's something worth keeping, Ilya may have learned a thing or two about what it means to be loved—and to let himself love freely.

I think this fic fundamentally broke me then stitched me back together and then slowly shattered me apart but the smoothed out the jagged pieces with such tender care that once they were placed back together it was better than before. This hit like a 5 hour therapy session I didnt know I needed and I cried the whole time. The pacing of this was absolutely perfect. It was so Immersive and deep yet so human and funny and awkward and just so perfect I want to hold it in my hands and hug it as hard as I can. It felt like coming home after a long, draining day to idle conversation that lives with you and fulfills you in a way you cannot describe. This is beautiful and serene and should be sponsored by Kleenex

Summary
Those stormy eyes would be the death of her, she thought, as his intense gaze raked over her. How was it that she felt breathless from a look? Without much thought, Sansa gave the tiniest of nods, and he reached out to the lock. The slow click of it was deafening, her hands falling from her hair and coming to rest on the sink in front of her. Still he didn’t move, and she realised it was because he wanted permission. This was her choice, he wouldn’t push a moment. Sansa’s lips parted but she couldn’t find her voice, couldn’t think of the way to say yes, please, you.
----
On a date with her neglectful and quite frankly terrible boyfriend, Sansa ends up in the bathroom with someone else. -

Summary
“I was trying to be cool about it.” Shane's confession is a quiet whine, muffled into his palms. “Go with the flow, y’know?”
It’s almost unbearable, how much Ilya adores this perfect, neurotic man. “Hollander,” he says patiently. “You have never once gone with flow. Not ever in your life.”
There is only one grey cloud in the perfect blue sky of Ilya’s summer.
His two weeks at the cottage are almost over, and Shane still hasn’t asked him to stay.

Not me absolutely bawling over this. Its so beautiful and it feels like a hug and a therapy session over candle lit pasta. So many lovely things to remember and commit to memory in the fic and the feelings that it evoked through reading it. The simple domesticality of it all has me so soft

Summary
Ilya falls in love with Shane’s hockey, first. Everything complicated comes later.
(A non-chronological timeline of Ilya Rozanov, falling in love with hockey and with life and with Shane Hollander.)

Beautifully paced. Reading this feels like sipping a warm cider on a crisp morning and then remembering the sharp tang of lemonade on the hottest day of summer. Both deeply contrasting but lovely and continuing to remind yourself of the comfort of now and then. A graceful tribute to Shane and Ilya and the time it took for them to be them
