“Only one way to find out,” Parrot said, before slipping off, trying to hide his bright wings as much as possible.
They got to the ledge, and everything was going well until they heard the music. The music that everyone knows means bad news. The music wasn’t too intense, which ruled out quite a few people, but it was still dramatic. Unfortunately, Parrot recognized that kind of dramatic.
Wifies. When Parrot was friends with Wifies, he was nice. He helped people, and was never cruel. But the Wifies now? Well, you wouldn’t want to get in his way.

“Hang on,” Branzy suddenly said, turning back around, “What did you just call me?”
Clown blinked innocently.
He stared at Clown for a moment more, before abruptly turning back to the machine. Branzy poked around in the mechanical guts, trying to keep his heart from picking up speed. Had Clown been … he couldn’t have been. Could he? Was he flirting?

Even at school Gambit transferred there after a few months after wemmbu 'died'.

“Do you think he’s got a secret girlfriend?” Minute asks, mostly to get Hannah to stop thinking about the possibility that Leo is another nameless casualty lying in the fallen snow of a New York City street. He knows it works because he can see her eyes light up.
“Who, Leo? Or the Phantom Spider?” Her lips are curled into a small smirk, as if the idea of either is equally unbelievable. He tries not to laugh too hard; Leo is a loveable guy, doesn’t Minute know it, but he’s pretty reserved, even with friendships.
“Either. I don’t think the city’s hero has much time for a girlfriend though. Or boyfriend,” he adds, raising his pointer finger to Hannah’s obvious glee, her laugh vibrating through her chest. She pokes him in the side and he squeaks.
“Maybe he has good PTO.”
