Aloy gave her that look—the one that was equal parts intrigue, amusement, and a dash of challenge. "You know, you have a habit of making things that sound like a good idea, right up until they blow a hole in the wall or burst into flames in my hands."
Seyka's grin only grew. "Okay, sure, but those things were designed to blow holes in walls. This one is designed to blow your mind instead."
Aloy only tilted her head, still studying the dildo, then met Seyka's eyes with a spark of mischief. "Well," she said, voice low and playful, "I guess there's only one way to find out if it works as you intended."
And just like that, it had passed its first true test: it had Aloy's full attention.

It took a moment for them to notice Seyka and the sleeping huntress on the couch, but when they did the three stopped to stare as if they couldn't quite believe what they were seeing. A soft, approving smile spread across Zo's face, Beta's brow was wrinkled in confusion, and Erend's mouth fell open as if he was hoping to catch a fly. Until he loudly said "Huh, wouldya look at that—"
"Shhh" Seyka, Zo, and Beta all turned to hush him at the same time.
"Right, sorry." Erend said sheepishly, lowering his voice. "All I'm saying is, I didn't even know she slept."
"She just needed the right pillow." Zo whispered with a sly smirk on her face, setting her bundle of supplies on a nearby table.

Seyka is starting to find her place among the base, and its other residents see a new side to Aloy now that the Quen marine has joined their ranks.

"Save yourself Aloy, and leave me to die." Seyka's voice was unusually hoarse, and her tone informed Aloy that her girlfriend was in fact, not trying to be sarcastic. "There's no reason for us both to go out like this."
Aloy felt a little guilty when she had to fight back a laugh, but it was entirely too amusing that Seyka—her brave, badass, tough as the roughest tides in the sea Seyka—who had helped take down a Horus, Nemesis and countless enemies, man and machine alike, was an absolute baby when she was sick.
It also, kind of, made Aloy love the woman even more.
