Summary
Sixteen-year-old Camilla and Palamedes take a chaperoned trip to Koniortos Court to meet the newly-appointed Lady and her charges. With a little bit of nerves and a little bit of wine, the young librarians find the trip spiraling wildly out of their control.
“It’s not an invasion, it’s just reality. Consider this from an inner-system perspective: we are more likely to be swallowed by Dominicus than to be smote by our neglected Resurrector for not carrying on with the proper aesthetic. With that in mind I have made it my primary goal to see that my work outlives me, or our sun, whichever goes first.
