Summary
Rett noted his discomfort with a clinical eye. "Talk to me, Pyke. What are ya feeling?" He placed a hand on Pyke's chest to feel his breathing, a motion he'd done dozens of times before, and Pyke balled his fists to keep still under the touch.
"Hot," he managed, his voice strained. The touch was making him feel crazy, hyper-aware of every twitch of Rett's fingers. What the hell was wrong with him?
"What else?" Rett asked. Pyke wasn't sure if he was imagining it or if he could really feel the aetheron's gruff voice rumbling through his hands.
"Strange," Pyke panted. Rett lifted his hand and Pyke had the sudden urge to catch it, to press it back to his chest, to feel Rett's strong and clever fingers move lower, and then it hit him. His eyes widened in mortification as he realized that the heat raging through his body was pooling low, and then Rett's gaze flickered quickly down past his waist and back up to lock eyes with him, and Pyke was sure that he knew, and he wanted to die.
Or: Pyke gets hit by a beam that makes you horny and Rett helps him out. Which could mean nothing. It's only what any good partner would do... right?

Summary
Early on in their bounty hunting careers, things go wrong for Rett and Pyke and the Sparrow gets set adrift in an asteroid field. When a cosmic space monster decides to help out- well, at least Pyke isn't dying from aether exposure any more? Also, Rett is watching. Oops. Sure hope this doesn't awaken anything in the two of them. Like all the feelings they've been denying about each other.
Or- it's tentacles. In the Sparrow. I can't really be more clear than that.

“I am fine” he rasps. “Just a bad day. Not hungry, though.”
“Do you want me to try a healing spell?”
He shakes his head. It’s nice of Jester to offer, but there is no spell in the world that could fix what is wrong with him. He’d know. Magic is kind of his thing.
___Caleb is having a very bad day, rotting away in bed. The Mighty Nein keep him company, each in their own way.

Summary
Seth Domade had many good qualities. He was human and, as such, could traverse Rexxentrum with ease. He had some unremarkable magical capabilities, so it was not odd that he might, say, use Comprehend Languages to read a book or cast Prestidigitation to clean the muck from his boots.
Seth Domade, however, was not a powerful wizard. He did not wield spells that could disrupt the gravity of an entire street or send his attackers flying into a wall. Seth Domade was a quiet, unassuming man. He spent most of his days editing volumes in the Cobalt Soul’s library, and he looked the part.
Around the time the silence manacles clapped around his wrists, Essek realized he should have dropped the facade of Seth Domade earlier.Series
