  1. Summary

Faced with a decided lack of transfic in the Supernatural fandom, I strapped on my big-girl* boots and set out to write some of my own. The works are all standalone. Please note, I'd like to ask all readers not to take the works within as a model for writing trans fiction.

    Summary

"If it's about Keeley, just save it, mate," he says, his mouth full of food. "Let's never bring this shit up again."

"No," Roy huffs. He's not touched his own food yet. "It's— it's not about her at all. It's about me, and I don't know why I'm telling you this, especially now, but you have to promise you won't take the fucking piss, because I really just need to fucking say this, okay?"

Jamie swallows his bite, and sets down the half-finished kebab. He straightens up a bit.

    "Yeah, okay. Go on."

    Roy takes a breath.

"Right. Fuck. Fine." He clenches one fist in his lap, trying to ground himself with the sensation of his nails digging into his palm, but they're too short to really do much. He's bitten them into stubs this week. "I'm losing my vision. Like, badly. I'm going fucking blind."

    -

roy can't see so well at night anymore. things get worse from there.

but also, maybe, a little better.

Weeks later, when the news finally breaks, the headlines will call it a “catastrophic brain injury”.

They’ll analyze the hit from every angle, trying to find just what went so wrong. It was clean, it was legal… and yet it somehow slammed Shane Hollander into the ice hard enough to end his career.

love you ‘til my lungs give out by scarlettroses (WorkID: 78310361)

Summary: "Yeah," David says, "we’ll go spend a week or two at your place. Do you remember— the construction workers were getting it all ready for you to get around a little easier? Adding some ramps, wider doors, all that stuff."

    Slowly, Shane nods.

His brow furrows as he looks at his screen again.

    Ilya.
    Go.
    House.

"Yes, I am coming to the cottage," Ilya says, reaching over to give his arm a gentle squeeze. "You are not getting rid of me so easy, now. You have me forever."

    Summary

After the end of the first war, Remus goes to New Orleans to forget.

Sirius turned his head, then, and fixed Remus with a look, cool and sharp and half-in-shadow. One corner of his mouth curled, and one eyebrow cocked, as if to say, I see you, Moony. Trying not to look.

It had taken until the end of sixth year before he could let himself think about why it was so hard to keep his eyes to himself. The back of Sirius's long graceful neck in detentions, the trail of black hairs down his stomach when his shirt lifted as he stretched. There was something mythical about him, chiseled and marble-white like an ancient statue; something remote in the same way too. Remus wanted to touch him—in the way one wants to touch a fine work of art. In the way one almost wants to rend it with his hands and eat it.

God, Remus had thought. Something else wrong with me. Something else I can never let anyone find out.
