Summary
Somewhere in the multiverse, Pepper saves the world and pays the price. Tony lies in a coma, not expected to survive, and a grieving Steve Rogers is named as Morgan's legal guardian:
“Hey, Cap. You should probably have a seat for this one.” On the video, Tony took another sip of coffee. “You’re going to want to kill me. But sadly for you, if you’re watching this, things have gone wrong for my little family. Pepper and I are dead already. Vegetables. Whatever. You’ll have to hash out your feelings of impotent rage vis à vis me with your support group. Anyway, let me cut to the chase here: I’ve named you Morgan’s legal guardian. I’ll give you a second to pick your jaw up off the floor.”
Steve sank slowly to the bathroom tiles; Tony was right. He did need to sit down for this one.
“You over it? Good. Look, I should’ve asked you; Pepper thinks I did. And you know, I thought about it, but if I’d asked you, you might have said ‘no,’ and I couldn’t let you say ‘no,’ Cap. I just couldn’t. Pep and I don’t have a deep bench, okay? Our folks are dead, and when you’ve got no family, your options are limited. But you know that. And that is yet another reason I picked you.”

Holy shit, such a beautiful ADULT story of recovery & grief & hope. And not just adult in terms of sex, but mature in the sense of, "This is what people struggle with at this stage of life, " & it's done so beautifully, so well. I cried like a baby.

Summary
Two years since news broke of a new virus spreading across the globe. Two years since the world ended in what felt like a matter of days.
And now it was just this.
The camps. The scavengers. The families. The bands of survivors barely eking out a life among the living dead.
Darcy Lewis is just trying to keep going in a world doing everything possible to destroy her. It doesn’t help that her pre-apocalypse crush and current enemy-with-benefits, Bucky Barnes, seems determined to stir up emotional turmoil every time he speaks. But when a supply run for the winter goes bad, they find themselves heading outside their Camp’s walls to face down the dead — and the living — with only each other to trust.
Everything is about to get a lot more complicated.

Summary
When he looks up, there’s a man standing before him. A man with deep brown eyes, a sharp jaw covered in facial hair, and a crown perched atop dark, unruly hair.
“Rise, Sir Barnes.”
Bucky was barely sixteen when they took him from home, put steel in his hand, and told him he was a soldier. He’s twenty-nine now, and after over a decade of fighting someone else’s wars, he has no loyalty left to give this kingdom—left it in the snow along with his limb—until he’s knighted by the Merchant of Death.
