Aemond doubted Alicent would have been so curious about him if Viserys had been a good fuck when they were younger. He doubted his mother would have been going against her morals and her faith if she had been loved by her husband during all those twenty years of marriage.
Perhaps his confession was just being used as an embarrassing and inappropriate way to compensate for Alicent's low self-esteem. However, Aemond did not mind, his pride had been high since childhood, but so had his desire.
He wanted to feel her like no one else had ever felt. He wanted her to experience all the good things Viserys had never given her. He wanted to be the one to do all of that. No longer just the second son or the second choice.
