Summary
She's so caught up in his words but not lost enough to mistake the touch of his finger at the bump of her neck. She sucks a shocked breath in and accidentally stumbles, pressing the B key instead of K. She feels her eyes widen. His breach of space in this small way scatters her wits. Rendered wordless, she's sure that that indeed is a finger of his running down her back.
The social rules of the old world would decry it as improper but this is a new age. A man can place a hand on a woman's back without it meaning anything other than a gesture of friendliness.
Staying in stony stillness, she feels him descending inch by inch over her dress.
He tsks. “You were doing brilliantly. I can tell that under the frumpy exterior there is a shine of wit and intelligence. You move on the keys like you were born to do so, it's beautiful. This much promise is rare, keep going.” he gently guides her

Summary
“How does it make you feel,” Halsin says quietly, just for Astarion to hear, “Knowing he wanted you enough to act so uncivilized?”
“It makes me feel like I want you to ruin me before he can have me,” he breathes, fangs dragging along Halsin’s neck, leaving raised welts in their path.
Halsin sucks in a breath before crashing their lips together greedily. Halsin would kiss him for hours if Astarion let him, and sometimes Astarion does, indulging himself in feeling so utterly appreciated. Halsin’s tongue presses into his gasping mouth, immediately finding a fang to prick himself on. Blood mixes with spit and Astarion keens, nails digging into skin to anchor himself.
He has no idea if Gale is still out there or if he’s fled, but just the thought makes his heart race. Halsin’s hip stutter; and out of nowhere Astarion is being lifted and manhandled. With as much ease as Halsin hefted the stag, he lowers Astarion to the ground before laying back himself, urging him to straddle him.
