Summary
“Listen, dorks, and listen good. You’re just a six-fingered freak, and you’re just a dumber, sweatier version of him.”
Stan was the dumb twin, and he knew it. It was a fact he had been forced to learn very quickly. He was reminded of that fact every single day of his life: Ford was smart, Stan was dumb. Ford was good at things, and Stan was terrible at them. Everyone loved Ford… It’s just the way things were.

Summary
He could only assume it was space and time itself or something equally as stupid as that that they were flying through, and he’d glanced to the side to find his brother, the one who had started all of this but was always so knowledgeable in regards to the unexplained, only to find his eyes wide and terrified.
And then he was here.
And his brother wasn’t.
And now he doesn’t know what to do with himself.
The dirt here is grey. It’s technically brown, he thinks, but it’s the most unsaturated shade that it might as well be grey. Leaves litter the ground, fallen from the rotted, gnarled trees that reached up, up towards the sky, towards the indecipherable haze above, and he couldn’t even begin to estimate how high the branches stretched.
Or, Stan follows Ford into the portal, only to wake up and find himself alone in The Unknown. Ford finds himself in the same situation, and they must work with companions they find along the way to find each other again and wrangle just enough hope back into their lives that they can make it out of the woods alive. Unfortunately for them, neither of them are quite in the right mental state to do so.

Summary
A quiet night aboard the Stan O' War II took an unexpected turn when Ford experienced a vivid encounter with Bill Cipher that felt far more real than a dream. Rather than taunting him, Bill claimed to reveal a hidden truth about Ford's existence, insisting that Ford's connection to the unknown ran deeper than he had ever imagined.
Ford rejected every word, convinced it was another attempt at manipulation. Yet Bill pointed to countless moments throughout their lives.
The following day, the brothers tried to reclaim a sense of normalcy during a trip ashore. They shared breakfast, laughed through a ridiculous argument with a street scammer, escaped before the authorities arrived, and enjoyed a peaceful meal together. Outwardly, everything seemed almost normal again.
But inwardly, Ford couldn't shake Bill's unsettling claims.
Was it only another one of Bill Cipher's lies... or had Ford just learned a truth that would forever change the way he understood both himself and Stan?

Summary
It had been a relief at first, for the pressure in his head and the weight on his arms to be released. He'd been in so much pain since he'd started defying HIM that he thought he'd never be free of it. Then he heard Stanley screaming his name and watched as his body fell through the portal, yellow eyes glowing with fury. Then the portal ran out of fuel and shut down. Then he realized Stanley couldn't see or hear him. No one could.
or
Thirty years ago, Ford was kicked out of his body by a furious Bill Cipher. Immediately after, said body fell through an interdimensional portal. Trapped in the Mindscape, Ford tried to make the best of his situation. However, this summer brought changes he hadn't expected; changes that could affect Gravity Falls forever, changes in the form of a new set of Pines twins.
