When they realized Neytiri wasn't listening, they gently shook her. It was only then did she turn her head to face the person, the snarl dying in her throat before she could even bare her teeth when she realized who it was.

    Did she really die? Had the great mother taken her? She was so startled she nearly fell out of the hammock she did not realize she was on. She did not register her hands were shaking until Sylwanin's hand had moved to hold hers, stabilizing her.
