I thumbed at my lip. “It was a valid conclusion based on your profile.”
And here was something interesting. Was this an organic response? It certainly seemed like it. Did Light respond negatively to someone taking credit for his crimes? Or had I found another pressure point?

Summary
Light stares forward at L, he's heading to his Misa's floor for "questioning", it's obvious he just likes to talk to Amane. As an alpha herself, she'll be able to smell his heat also, not that Light thinks she'll do it, but there's that minor risk of entering. If Light told L to not go in for that factor, would he suspect him as Kira? Would Kira be willing to watch Misa mate L? Or would he warn him? Kira would be more likely to just yank L toward him and do it all himself, dominate and assault the omega until Kiras pleased.
'Light. Are you listening to me?' Ls flat tone echoes in Lights head.
His head perks back up, only to look down again as the wave of pheromones hit him. 'Yeah, sorry. Continue.'
