Summary
This story is my attempt to continue Murder Drones in the direction I believe is most likely after the finale, while preserving the original series’ blend of horror, dark comedy and emotional chaos—or at least trying to. There are still far too many unresolved clues and unfinished threads to simply let the story end here.
After the final battle, life on Copper 9 begins to look almost normal again. The students return to school, damaged homes are repaired, and the colony tries to move on. But Uzi soon begins dreaming of places she has never seen and remembering things that do not belong to her. As the boundary between her mind and Cyn’s grows less certain, N, V, and J are forced to confront a past that never truly ended.
Beneath the ruins, old human systems are still running. Copper 9 is still dying. And somewhere inside Uzi, something left unfinished is beginning to reveal itself.
